2012 Winner of our Global Marina of the Year Contest

Yacht Haven Grande is the winner of the FIRST-EVER global Marina of the Year contest! This year over 92,000 boater votes were tallied to determine the top ten marinas in the world. This contest was open to all facilities regardless of size, location, or affiliation in the industry. Yacht Haven Grande was amongst these top ten and then managed to receive more votes from our 'panel of industry professionals' than any of the other contenders. This panel was comprised of the president and vice president of various marina associations across the world!

Description of the Facility

Yacht Haven Grande is the premier St. Thomas marina facility for megayachts within the Caribbean and is the centerpiece in IGY’s incomparable portfolio of yachting destinations.  Located alongside the scenic Charlotte Amalie Harbor the St. Thomas marina encompasses a 48-slip megayacht facility complemented by 80,000 square feet of retail space, exciting dining and entertainment options, recreational amenities and seaside residences.  Incomparable to other St. Thomas marinas, The Marina at Yacht Haven Grande offers world-class amenities including side-to berthing for yachts up to 450 feet and beyond; and 18 foot concrete docks and piers.  Services include beautifully designed and appointed marina facilities dedicated for crew, owners, and guests including comprehensive nautical provisioning, catering, laundry, florist, and ships’ chandlery.  The USVI has stunning cruising grounds and a lot of other land activities surrounding this incredible St. Thomas marina. 

Our first class St. Thomas marina is complemented by 80,000 square feet of retail space, entertainment options, seaside accommodation and exciting fine dining opportunities.  We offer access to over 40 designer level and ‘local boutiques’.
