  1. B&G Marine at Riverwalk Marina owner Bryan Baker is a crook! 3 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Jun 2015

I went to B&G Marine to have my boat winterized upon the recommendation of a friend of mine. The standard process for winterizing an onboard boat like mine it to drain all th water from the engine and other components then pump it back full of anti freeze. Well B&G charged me $85 for the 3 minutes it took them to pull my block drains and let me know it was ready for pick up. When this sprin rolled around and I went to run the antifreeze out of my boat I burned up my impeller because B&G didn't perform proper procedure. When I called to let them know what happened after relaying messages through the clerk, the owner, Bryan Baker finally called me back. After explaining what happened Bryan informed me that the unfastened parts had been bagged and zip tied to my steering wheel with a message that stated "Do not run." Well none of that was true I found the parts in a cup holder and no kind of notice nor was I made aware of the situation upon picking up my boat nor was there indication on my invoice. After explaining this to Bryan he proceeded to call me a liar, cussed me out, claimed he was not liable, and hung up the phone. I have been unable to get them to answer or return a call since. DO NOT USE THIS SHADY BUSINESS FOR YOU REPAIR NEEDS! There are plenty other reputable boat service and repair shops in the area!
